ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
Allometrics is an ISO 17025 accredited calibration company that sells, certifies, services, and repairs process instrumentation, weighing devices, controlled environments, measuring, and test equipment for laboratories in a wide range of industries. Allometrics is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our growing company.
A successful candidate must possess excellent writing, speaking, and communication skills; As well as exceptional administrative, organizational, customer service skills. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications; such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
‐ Answer Main Phone and direct customer calls to appropriate person; PO & fax email processing.
‐ Order office supplies, PPE.
‐ Manage OJT & Indysoft calendar.
‐ Mail and email customer invoices.
‐ Process customer credit card payments (via Merchant Services & in GP).
‐ Add new contacts to existing companies.
‐ Ensure travel arrangements, Training registration, Conferences, and other travel needs are met in a timely manner.
‐ Create and maintain cost spreadsheets for Training/Travel.
‐ Maintain Vehicle Tracking report.
‐ Correct parts in GP when problems are found during integration;
‐ Invoice/Integrate work orders & service reports generated by the service department.
‐ File/scan physical receipts for processing.
‐ Site Compliance.
‐ Promote excellent Customer & Vendor Relations.
‐ Various other projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a background in one or more of the following:
‐ Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains) Accounting Software or similar accounting software.
‐ 3‐5 years of administrative experience.
‐ $15‐20/hr. depending on experience.
